External scholarships are scholarships provided from organizations, individuals, or businesses outside of Sonoma State University. These scholarships should be reported to the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office so we can make sure it shows as anticipated aid on your account and fits into the rest of your financial aid award. Failure to do so could result in us requiring you to repay some or all of your need-based financial aid.
